Elevate A Workspace

A Mountain Office, Reimagined: Timberveil Realty at Schweitzer

When Timberveil Realty came to Elliott Cole Home, the brief was simple on paper and layered in practice: create an office at Schweitzer Mountain Village that feels less like a place to close a deal and more like a preview of the lifestyle they're selling. For a brokerage whose business is built on mountain living, the workspace itself needed to say that before a single word did.

Setting the Tone

The space is anchored by full-height walnut slat paneling — warm, textural, and quietly architectural. It's the kind of detail that reads as custom craftsmanship rather than decoration, and it does double duty: softening the acoustics of a working office while giving the whole room a sense of depth as the light moves across it through the day. Paired with a moody, tonal palette of charcoal, bronze, and aged leather, the effect is less "corporate real estate office" and more "alpine lodge study" — grounded, a little masculine, entirely intentional.

Designed to Work, Built to Welcome

Full-service interiors means the design has to hold up to the way a space actually gets used, not just how it photographs. The desk setup is generous — clean concrete-look surfaces, an ergonomic leather task chair, and enough room to spread out a listing packet or a set of renderings without things feeling cramped. Every fixture was chosen with intention, down to the black task lighting and the leather desk organizer that keeps the everyday carry — keys, cards, a watch — off the surface and out of the way.

Just off the desk, a compact wet bar and coffee station turns a client meeting into something more hospitable: a Keurig, a pair of ceramic mugs, and a small shelf of good whiskey signal that this is a place built for conversation, not just paperwork. It's a small footprint doing a lot of work — the kind of detail that changes how a meeting feels without anyone quite being able to say why.

Curated, Not Decorated

The bookshelf styling tells its own story — titles like Hidden Architecture, The Ultimate Ski Book, and Living in Style: Mountain Chalets sit alongside a hand-carved wood sculpture and a scatter of ceramic vessels in black and bone white.  Every object was selected to reinforce the same point the walnut paneling and the leather chair are already making: this brokerage lives the lifestyle it sells. A stack of Schweitzer trail maps on the desk is a small, unpretentious touch that ties the office directly back to the mountain just outside the window.

MASCULINE OFFICE

From Mood Board to Finished Room

Like every Elliott Cole Home project, this one started with a carefully built mood board — the leather task chair, the black desk lamp, succulents in raw ceramic and cork planters, the leather valet tray — before a single piece was installed. That process is what keeps a commercial space like this from feeling generic: every selection is weighed against the others, so the finished room reads as one cohesive idea rather than a collection of nice things.

The Result

Perched above Schweitzer Mountain Village, with the slopes visible just beyond the windows, Timberveil Realty's office now does exactly what it was designed to do — it makes the case for mountain living before a single listing is ever shown. It's a reminder of what full-service interior design can do for a commercial space: not just furnish it, but give it a point of view.
