Contemporary Craftsman

Drawn to the shores of Lake Pend Oreille in Sandpoint,
Idaho, this California family envisioned a legacy home designed to welcome
generations. With an expansive family and a deep love of cooking and
entertaining, the home needed to move effortlessly between intimate daily life
and gatherings on a much larger scale.

Completed as an extensive six-month remodel, the residence
was reimagined around connection—to family, to food, and to the landscape
beyond. A restrained palette and layered natural textures soften the
contemporary architecture, creating a home that feels refined yet entirely at ease.
